About this concert
Ibrahim Abouleish (1937-2017) founded SEKEM in 1977, a sustainable-development initiative in the desert north-east of Cairo that grew into farms, a school, a university and a recipient of the Right Livelihood Award. The choir performed under Nayer Nagui for his eightieth birthday.
